Next meeting May 14.26 & Meeting minutes from April

 Our next meeting is Thursday May 14, 2026 at Whitefish Community Library 6 PM.  

It will be our last meeting before our summer break.  Bring photos to share, a snack or just come as you are!

Below are a collection of images from our last meeting.



Eric Parker showed us images from around the world, digging into his collection of photos and travels.




Dee brought us back to winter, with macro shots of snow and ice.  A few from ice skating and her time in the mountains.




I brought a few images from the Great Northern Railway Hillhouse, aka repair shop in Spokane.  Indian camps in glacier and a current aerial from Polson.




Sidney Stone brought images from some of the sports events that he has been photographing, as well as his texture shots.  Fun stuff




Marguerite showed some images from airshows that she has photographed.




Frank brought images from the White Water Fest, Motor cross fun and up close rodeo shots.

Our next meeting is the second Thursday of the month 12.12.2024 at 6 PM at the Whitefish Library.   It is our holiday meeting, if you have something to share for our gift exchange please bring it.  Either wrapped or not, it is up to you.  Typically we suggest if you have any photography gear that you are no longer using bring it, if you do not, you do not need to bring anything.  If you want to bring a snack or goodies to share that is always welcome too. Bring photos along too, please keep them to under 25 images, since we will have the gift exchange and time will be limited.

February Meeting Minutes & next meeting 3.13.25

Last month we had Jersey Boy's pizza, and brownies and cookie desserts.  We were thinking it might be nice to try to do a pot luck with having everyone bring something easy to snack on, if they have the time and want to bring something. We also saw a lot of nice photos.  I will post some of my favorites below. We had a new member Gray Emery Gove and he will have a  show will be March 20-23  at the expo park in Great Falls.  He brought in one of his prints that he did in a dark room, from a Roloflex camera and mounted on wood. His booth is 70 in The Great Western Show . Check out his web site:  www.
