Glacier Camera Club

We had a nice meeting last month just before our summer break.  We will meet up again after the summer. I wanted to post that Tony is holding a slideshow at the Whitefish Community Center.   Dee cooled us down with her photos from hiking up the Big Mountain, when we had that nice show storm.  She also showed her time in the field with a Lichenologist.   We showed an aerial image from the headwaters of the South Fork river in the Bob that we are going to float this summer.  A shot of Salmon Lake and a glass plate of Whitefish. Marguerite showed us images from the Thunderbirds airshow, where she was part of the show. Frank showed us some shots from the dirt bike race in Hungry Horse, train cars and a few historic shots from Lacy of Whitefish.  

 Our next meeting is Thursday May 14, 2026 at Whitefish Community Library 6 PM.   It will be our last meeting before our summer break.  Bring photos to share, a snack or just come as you are! Below are a collection of images from our last meeting. Eric Parker showed us images from around the world, digging into his collection of photos and travels. Dee brought us back to winter, with macro shots of snow and ice.  A few from ice skating and her time in the mountains. I brought a few images from the Great Northern Railway Hillhouse, aka repair shop in Spokane.  Indian camps in glacier and a current aerial from Polson. Sidney Stone brought images from some of the sports events that he has been photographing, as well as his texture shots.  Fun stuff Marguerite showed some images from airshows that she has photographed. Frank brought images from the White Water Fest, Motor cross fun and up close rodeo shots.
