I think we will take a break on our meetings for July & August.  Giving us all more time to get outside.  We will pick up again either September or Oct. 

We had a nice May meeting everyone was looking forward to summer and this amazing weather that we have been having.  Tony showed us how he takes his camera in the field in his bike carrier and on a sit on top kayak in Blanchard.  Sue brought some nice reflection shots from the park especially from the East side, St. Mary's lake.  She also showed us her dog and her daughters dogs.  Dee showed us her and Dave's love for snow.  From the Whitefish trail of Lion Mountain to the chasing snow up on the Big Mountain.  




Tony shared some great loon shots from Blanchard Lake, Northern Lights from City Beach, birds of prey and more!




Sue showed us some shots of her dog and her daughters dog, and amazing reflections from St. Mary Lake




Dee showed us some art from the produce section of the grocery store, and her and Dave's quest to ski more.

Our next meeting is the second Thursday of the month 12.12.2024 at 6 PM at the Whitefish Library.   It is our holiday meeting, if you have something to share for our gift exchange please bring it.  Either wrapped or not, it is up to you.  Typically we suggest if you have any photography gear that you are no longer using bring it, if you do not, you do not need to bring anything.  If you want to bring a snack or goodies to share that is always welcome too. Bring photos along too, please keep them to under 25 images, since we will have the gift exchange and time will be limited.

Meeting Minutes from Sept, Next meeting 10.10.24

Welcome back was the topic for the September meeting.  We have never taken the summer off from our meetings, but this summer it seemed like the thing to do. We had a great collection of images from all over the world to look at, from Glacier Park to Nara, Japan to Borneo.  To name a few.  Below is a sample of the night. I showed a video from flying into the South Fork of the Flathead River in Spotted Bear.  You can see that video again HERE> Our next meeting is October 10th, 2024, the 2nd Thursday of the month, as it always has been, 6 PM at the Whitefish Library.  Marguerite showed images from when they had the Ski Joring event at Rebecca Farm.  Seems like a great location for this event. Leanne helps with studies conducted in Glacier National Park and gets to spend quality time in the park.  She showed us images from Gunsight lake to Ptarmigan Tunnel.
