Meeting Minutes from Dec. and next meeting 1.12.2023

Holiday Cheer was in the air last meeting.  We had fun times, with memories, snacks and goodies.  Frank & Myrna brought medium format slides and we had a medium format slide show!  It was fun to see the colors of film again.  

Next meeting we will meet at 6 PM at Whitefish Library 1.12.2023.

Meeting Minutes & Next meeting 2.12.26

Our next meeting is Thursday, Feb. 12th, 2026 6pm at The Whitefish Library. Our last meeting was early January with lots of great conversation and attendance.  Tony and his wife traveled to Mexico.  He brought some great bird shots, ocean shots and overall scenes.  I brought some shots of Christmas trees, and images from the Fargo air museum.  We took a tour down memory lane for Jeff's dad as he showed us the planes that he used to fly for the guard.  During the cold war, he was part of the US's air patrol.  He flew everything from the F4 to the F89, which is shown below. It looks like there will be some eaglet's this year from Jackie & Shadow.  They already have 2 eggs on the nest.  Let the fun begin watching them try to hatch their eggs right from the live feed from their nest.   https://friendsofbigbearvalley.org/eagles/

Meeting minutes and next meeting is 3.12.26 at 6 pm Whitefish Library

Meeting Minutes and our next meeting is March 12th at the Whitefish Library at 6 PM. Last month we had a nice meeting with pizza and laughs.  Below is a collection of some of the images that were presented.  Nelson had a great collection from the Mountain.  Some of the trials and tribulations that happen on the Big.  Dee had some deep snow shots, back we actually had snow and some fall mushroom shots. GravityShots of Flathead Lake and Inversion day on the mountain Photo by Lacy burning of the train ice house Nelson brought some great shots from the Big Mountain, the chair 1 evac and competition days. Dee also brought some fun winter shots and these up close shots of mushrooms, that made us remember our friend Myrna.

Meeting Minutes and next meeting 12.11.25 Holiday meeting

We had a nice meeting even though we were locked out of our room at the library.   We changed gears to the top floor of the brewery and just showed this images on a laptop.  Next time we should remember that we have to grab a key if the library is locked, or after hours.  Sean travelled from the boarder to come to club so we had to find another location!  It all worked out well. Next meeting is December 11, 2025 AT 6pm, at the Whitefish Library.  Bring snacks to share, I will grab a pizza and things that you want to get rid of for our holiday meeting.
