November meeting minutes and our next meeting 12.8.2022

Next meeting is 12.8.2022 at Whitefish Library at 6 PM in the Northwest room.  

We had a nice meeting, Dwayne showed us his prints of "Harold", the large elk that has been poached from the Bison Range.  He had been photographing the bull for years and had a special connection to him.  Click HERE> to see the article about it in the Daily Interlake.



I showed a few fall aerial shots, one of Hungry Horse Reservoir and Stanton Glacier.



Dee showed some images of winter that came on top of the larch needles.  She also showed images from a smokey skies and goats on the ridge.



Myrna showed some images of her new product cube, which allows you take pics of products without shadows.  She also showed a few fall shots.




Leann showed some pics from the park.  A few night time shots, bears, humming birds and more.

Our next meeting will be a holiday meeting, the second Thursday of the month Dec. 14.2023.  Bring a snack or sweet to share with the club, if you would like, as well as photos to share. Last Meeting we met at the Whitefish Community Library, and it was nice to be back to a simple life.  Although I was unprepared and did not bring a laptop, Dee saved the day.  She went home to get the laptop from her house.  Only a slight delay. Frank showed the club some great snow ghost shots, bison from the range and a shot of barrel racing Sidney showed us images from his photography workshop down south in Utah, I believe.  Close up desert shots, pictographs and a comparison between black and white and infared.  His teacher carries this frame around and uses it to look for shots that he likes.   I showed images from Egypt, before going I was unaware that it is an unsafe place, or that we would have a full time security guard with us traveling to the sites.  Our first guard was very nice and down pla

Meeting Minutes and next meeting 4.11.2024

Our next meeting will be April 11, 2024, the 2nd Thursday of each month, at the Whitefish Library at 6 PM.   We had a nice meeting last month.  You can see some of the images below. Marguerite showed some images from the Ski Joring practice.  I showed a few images over Glacier and some from Oldtime images from Somers Dee showed some images from some of the winter activities that she likes to do.  Ice skating, walking and skiing in the snow! Gary brought in some photos from Antelope Canyon and Arizona at Rex and Ginna's place.
