Next Meeting 2.11.2021 and Meeting Minutes from Jan meeting...

Hello Glacier Camera Club- 

Last week we had a nice Google Meet up, each month gets easier with technology.  I discussed the possibility of running the Google Meet from Pin & Cue next month.  Those that are comfortable coming could come and those could still join from the computer.  Pin & Cue said that was fine.

We looked at some pictures that I scanned of Ed's from the 1930's and building of Going to the Sun Highway and a few from Eureka.



Myrna brought us a bit of color and got me thinking of spring showing flowers, mushrooms and big horn sheep. 


Dee brought us to the Eastern side of the mountains, with a back pack trip she & Dave did to Our Lake. 





Jeff and I took a trip to West Fork cabin also on the East side. It was a haul getting over there 3.5 hours + 3.5 miles of snowmobiling on no snow to the cabin. But I said I could retire in Choteau.

Meeting Minutes and next meeting 4.11.2024

Our next meeting will be April 11, 2024, the 2nd Thursday of each month, at the Whitefish Library at 6 PM.   We had a nice meeting last month.  You can see some of the images below. Marguerite showed some images from the Ski Joring practice.  I showed a few images over Glacier and some from Oldtime images from Somers Dee showed some images from some of the winter activities that she likes to do.  Ice skating, walking and skiing in the snow! Gary brought in some photos from Antelope Canyon and Arizona at Rex and Ginna's place.

Meeting minutes and next meeting 6.13.2024 6PM at Whitefish Community Library

The May meeting was on the first sunny day after a rainy spell, we had 2 new people, and everybody was bubbly.  We had Gary, Frank, Nelson, Sidney, Mitch who was new last time, and 2 new people Omar and Louie.  Next meeting is 6.13.2024 6PM at Whitefish Community Library Dee documented the end of winter and eruption of spring close to home. Frank traveled a little farther to photograph the sculpture at the entrance to the Blackfeet Reservation and a historic inn in Ferndale -- no, not that Ferndale, but the one in California. Mitch also went to California to experience this ethereal sinuous road and a bird highlighting the bloom in Indian Wells. Sidney compared his color images with B&W renditions, including a great blue heron and Mammoth Hot Springs in winter.  Campus protests are in the news again, as they were when Sidney photographed this one about Vietnam.
